DEVELOPING STORY TONIGHT. OMAHA POLICE NEED YOUR HELP INVESTIGATING A HOMICIDE. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO NEAR THE VILLAGE PARK APARTMENTS CLOSE TO 28TH AND HARRISON JUST AFTER 1130 FRIDAY NIGHT. POLICE FOUND ONE PERSON DOWN WITH CPR IN PROGRESS AND RUSHED THEM TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE THEY LATER DIED. INVESTIGATORS NEED YOUR HELP TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED. Omaha police are investigating a homicide after one person is killed near 28th and Harrison Street Friday night.Officers responded to the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m., near the Village Park Apartments near 28th and Harrison Street.They found one person down with CPR in progress and rushed that person to the hospital, where they later died.The investigation is ongoing. Police urge you to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP. You can leave a tip anonymously, and you could be eligible for up to a $25,000 reward.
