Three men arrested in relation to assault, shooting in Omaha on Monday morning
Three men have been arrested in relation to an assault and shooting that injured a 25-year-old man in Omaha on Monday.
Authorities said that a 17-year-old man was taken into custody for terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony and felony assault.
Omaha police also arrested 23-year-old Tre'Vel Caldwell for robbery and 20-year-old Christopher Spigner for robbery, warrants and destruction of property.
The incident occurred around 8:55 a.m., near 92nd Street and Cady Avenue, according to authorities.
Investigators said that the victim, identified as Kalid Mahamed, was taken to Methodist Hospital by private vehicle.
Mahamed told officers that three men assaulted him and shot at him, authorities said.
Omaha police said Mahamed has non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for treatment.
