Two people were rushed to the hospital after a crash at 144th and L around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night. One of the patients is in critical condition at Bergan Mercy. Police say a Honda failed to yield and was hit by a Ford Explorer. Officers say the driver of the Honda then hit an Omaha police cruiser.The officer in the cruiser was already stopped for a radio call. The officer did not need to go to the hospital.The driver of the Honda is being investigated for possible impairment, according to Omaha Police.
