BACK TO YOU. OKAY. THANK YOU, BILL. WE HAVE A CRIME STOPPERS ALERT IN NORTHWEST OMAHA. POLICE IDENTIFY THE MAN FOUND SHOT OUTSIDE A DUNKIN DONUTS. POLICE SAY 20 YEAR OLD RASHAWN BENTON WILL SURVIVE. HE IS STILL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. OFFICER WAS FOUND DEAD NEAR 106TH AND FOURTH. THIS AFTERNOON. POLICE SAY THE SHOOTING HAPPENED SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY’RE NOT SURE WHERE.

A 20-year-old man injured in a shooting Thursday near a Northwest Omaha doughnut shop suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening according to Omaha Police.The shooting took place around 2:30 p.m. near 106th & Fort Streets. Investigators later identified the victim as Rashaun Benton.Police blocked access to the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts store while they investigated.Investigators did not release any other details about the case.Omaha Crime Stoppers will offer a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
