Henry Doorly Zoo holds 'Teddy Bear Weekend' for stuffed animals in need of repair
If you've got kids, then you know it can be tough keeping those stuffed animals in decent shape.
But the Henry Doorly Zoo has you covered with its Teddy Bear Weekend.
Kids were able to get into the zoo for free Saturday and could bring along a stuffed animal in need of repair.
One docent at the zoo said this event is a big hit with visitors.
"They are beyond excited because some of their stuffed animals look like they might have even been handed down a few generations. And listen, if they come and they don't have a stuffed animal, we even have a little gift for them that they could even get another special little stuffed animal from the zoo," Theresa Johnson said.
You can still visit the zoo to get some special care for your stuffed animal between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.
