We are excited for our second annual Olympia School District Band Bash that will be taking place on June 14 at Ingersoll Stadium at 7 p.m. The OSD Band Bash is sponsored this year by Harbor Foods and is an epic celebration of Band in our community and features musicians from 5th-12th grades from every school in our district.
The performances will include a gigantic band made up of all of our 5th grade band members, an enthusiastic group of over 300 middle school musicians, a highly-skilled combined band from OHS and CHS, and the grand finale featuring more than 700 musicians performing together.
As a bonus for our final piece of the night, we are welcoming to the field any former band member that would like to perform with us– parents, grandparents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, anyone that has experienced the joy of making music in a band and wants to play with over 700 members of the OSD Band family. Here’s what all of our participants (students and guests) need to know….
- Plan to arrive at Ingersoll Stadium at 6:15 p.m.
- Students should wear their Band Bash t-shirts (generously provided by Harbor Foods!!) on the top half of themselves and anything comfortable on the bottom half of themselves.
- Guest performers can just dress comfortably.
- The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will be completed before 8 p.m.
