The North Decatur Chargers was the last team standing once the dust settled at the 1A Jac-Cen-Del baseball sectional on. In the first semi-final of the day, the Chargers routed the host Eagles 12-0. Batesville varsity baseball defeated North Decatur 13-0 on Saturday as Jaiden Kuria, Alex Baumer, and Jackson Tracy. combined to throw a shutout for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught by Batesville was led by Cade Kaiser, Jack Grunkemeyer, Chris Lewis, Conner Drake, Eli Loichinger, and Kaiser, who all drove in runs.
