Arrest Made In Okmulgee Homicide; Victim Identified

A suspect has been arrested after a man was found dead inside an Okmulgee home, according to Police.

Okmulgee police found 50-year-old Andrew Belmontes dead Sunday night with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. They say, Richard Guitierrez, 35, was arrested Monday night and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail on a complaint of murder.

OPD says this is an ongoing investigation and that they are looking to interview any potential witnesses.
