A recent report from the Southern Poverty Law Center identified 13 hate groups in Oklahoma, and several of them make regular appearances at your local school board meetings.
For nearly 20 years, Moms For America has promoted a "love of liberty" that counters what they view as a radical cultural shift.
"Our main goal is helping moms raise Patriots, empower them in their home, help them on their journey through motherhood," said the host of Moms For America Podcast Debbie Kraulidis.
Now her group, along with several others have been labeled as extremists by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
SPLC says these groups use their causes to intimidate and harass teachers and push legislation to whitewash history.
Their annual report features more than 1,200 hate and antigovernment extremist groups, including 13 new additions that are mainly conservative parents' rights groups.
This includes Moms For Liberty, No Left Turn In Education, and Parents Defending Education.
"Parents bring lots of different concerns, especially schools separating students or teachers by their race, and when a group like SPLC labels us as a hate group, it really devalues the meaning of what a hate group actually is," said Alex Nester with Parents Defending Education.
These lists have caused controversy for the SPLC in the past.
In 2014, the SPLC had to walk back designations to Doctor Ben Carson for placing him on the extremist watch list.
SPLC also lost a $3 million lawsuit to British political activist Maajid Nawaz in 2016 for including him in a list of Anti-Muslim extremists.
"The only reason that makes sense that I'm on this list is because they have an ideological agenda to seek to muzzle voices," Nawaz said.
The Southern Poverty Law Center insists the purpose of these annual lists is to hold the groups accountable and try to prevent them from expanding.
That includes the Tulsa chapter of Moms For Liberty, along with the Canadian and Stephens County chapters.
The SPLC classifies Moms For Liberty as a far-right antigovernment organization.
Moms For Liberty fights against indoctrination and advocates for the dismantling of The Department of Education and a mass exodus from public schools to private institutions.
They are also known for their fight against what they call critical race theory, and for banning books in school.
