Thunder Mountain Bike Park is a popular riding destination in Western Massachusetts. Like many east coast bike parks, Thunder doubles as a ski resort, and requires a lot of work to get ready for bike season.

Recently, the trail crew has begun dutifully preparing the bike trails for the season. See a montage below of the prep work below.

In this video, the trail crew got to work clearing drainage. New England had an especially wet summer last year, so working on the drainage is a worthwhile project.

Thunder is known for having a mix of raw New England tech and large jump trails. Its Fort Hill Jump line has some of the bigger jumps out there.

Though Thunder has not announced an opening day, They are certainly working overtime to get the bike park back up and running for the summer.
