STEAMY LIGHT WINDS NOW TONIGHT WE’RE GONNA LOOK FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. IT’S GOING TO BE AFTER MIDNIGHT COMING INTO DAYBREAK FOR OKC. WE HAVE A LOW RISK TONIGHT WE’RE GOING TO GO WITH ONE INCH HAIL, 60 MILE PER HOUR WINDS. NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE TORNADOES TONIGHT. SO IT’S KIND OF SIMULATE HOW THIS WILL HAPPEN AS WE GO INTO THE FUTURE. AGAIN, IT MIGHT TAKE ALL NIGHT. SO YOU COULD BE WATCHING DAMON AT TEN. I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO GET THE UPDATED INFORMATION FOR YOUR WEEKEND, BUT HE WON’T HAVE MUCH TO SHOW YOU. AND THEN DURING THE OVERNIGHT, SOME SCATTERED STORMS. AND FROM 3 TO 6 A.M., THEY’RE GOING TO BECOME A LITTLE BIT MORE INTENSE, MORE WIDESPREAD. THEY’LL WAKE YOU UP TOMORROW MORNING. SO USUALLY SLEEPING ON THE WEEKENDS. WELL, MAYBE NOT. MAYBE YOU DO. BUT MOTHER NATURE IS GOING TO WAKE YOU UP. THAT WILL FORM INTO A COMPLEX AND MOVE DOWN TO THE SOUTHEAST AND THIS COULD GO A COUPLE DIFFERENT WAYS. AND I’M LOOKING AT NEW MODEL DATA. ONE OF THE MODELS HAS BEEN HANDLING THIS PATTERN VERY WELL, SAYS THAT THIS INITIAL WAVE HOLDS OFF AND IT DOESN’T FIRE UP UNTIL THE AFTERNOON. IF THAT’S THE CASE, THEN WE MAY HAVE MORE WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IN THE AFTERNOON AND NOT THE MORNING FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA. SO IT’S A COMPLETE DOMINO EFFECT. VERY CONDITIONAL. IT’S SOMETIMES VERY THIS PATTERN. THERE’S NOT A LOT OF FLOW IN THE JET STREAM. IT’S HARD TO FORECAST IT DOWN TO THE HOUR. SO WE’LL GO FOR HIGHER CHANCES IN THE MORNING. EASTERN OKLAHOMA, THEN THE AFTERNOON, NEW BACK BUILDING DEVELOPMENT. I’LL GO 40% CHANCE. I FEEL A LITTLE BIT MORE CONFIDENT IN THAT PROBABILITY. IF ANYTHING, IF I WERE TO TWEAK THE FORECAST, I’D PROBABLY RAISE THESE NUMBERS INTO THE AFTERNOON FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. HERE’S THE RISK LEVEL ONE, TWO AND THREE. OKC SOUTH. NOW THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF A TORNADO RISK TOMORROW. SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA, IT’S NOT THAT HIGH. IT’S A2K. WE’LL HAVE TO WATCH THAT. BUT I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED THERE’S GOING TO BE A FRONT. AND IF THE STORMS ARE ON THE FRONT, THE STORMS WILL TRY TO ROTATE. SO WE COULD HAVE SOME SUPERCELLS TOMORROW. THERE’S A LOW TORNADO RISK. SO WE’LL WATCH FOR THAT. THERE’S ANOTHER RED PANEL ON SUNDAY. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? WE PUT RED PANELS ON WHEN THERE’S A RISK IN THE KOCO VIEWING AREA, THEN I OWE YOU THAT MAP AND THAT MAP FOR SUNDAY IS DOWN SOUTH SULFUR DAVIS AND THAT’S MOVING AWAY FROM US. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE OKC AT THIS TIME. IT’S A COLD FRONT. LOVE THOSE LOWER 80S MORE BONUS RAIN TUESDAY WEDNESDAY AND THEN A VERY ISOLATED CHANCES INTO NEXT WEEKEND. IT TURNS HOT THE FOLLOWING WEEK LIKE A LOT OF 90S END OF THE MONTH
