A new Black-owned breakfast and brunch restaurant is opening up in NE Oklahoma City.
Scrambl'd aims to bring a creative twist to the east side of OKC.
Customers can expect traditional breakfast and brunch dishes with a twist and coffee that the restaurant says is some of the best in the city. There is also a full-service bar that offers cocktails.
Jabee Williams, the co-owner of Scrambl'd, says that it's more than just a restaurant, but it's a community-driven establishment that values service and hospitality.
"Our goal is to be a reliable food option for our community that has experienced a food apartheid and years of underdevelopment and lack of resources," said Williams. "We want to provide a space where families can come and enjoy good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere."
Cordell Love, the co-owner and operator of the new restaurant, echoes Williams' sentiments.
"We want to create a family-friendly environment where everyone feels welcome," Love said. "That's why we offer indoor and outdoor patio seating, so families of all sizes can come and enjoy a meal together."
Scrambl'd is open for breakfast and brunch Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. through 3 p.m.
It's located at 1742 NE 23rd St.
