OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) —
A man was arrested in connection to a deadly overnight shooting in Oklahoma, according to authorities.

Police said they responded to the scene on Thursday shortly after 1:30 a.m. EDT and found a person who was shot outside a hotel in Oklahoma City.
The person, who has not been identified yet, was pronounced dead on scene.
Steven Curnett, 24, surrendered to police at the scene and was later booked into the county jail for murder in the second degree.
Police said it appears the victim and Curnett got into an argument that led to shots being fired.

The incident marked the 36th homicide of the year in the city.
