OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – One person is dead after a crash in southwest Oklahoma City.
Around 10 p.m. on Sunday, emergency crews were called to an accident near S.W. 74th and S. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City.
Officials say a man walked into the roadway and was hit by a vehicle.
According to the incident report, a streetlamp was on the opposite side of the road, but the area was still relatively dark.
Initially, officials reported that it was a hit-and-run incident.
However, authorities later said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The victim, who died of his injuries, has not been identified.
