2 Arrested In Connection To 2022 Drive-By Shooting In NW OKC

Two people have been arrested in connection to a 2022 drive-by shooting in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police tracked Makayla Murphy's phone to an apartment complex near Northwest 50th and Meridian when a 7-year-old and 18-year-old were shot.

Officers said Shelby Black was in the car with her and they threw the gun into Lake Overholser.

Both suspect were arrested on assault and battery complaints.
