Injury Report: Pokusevski off Injury Report, SGA Listed as Questionable

Oklahoma City enters Friday looking at another must-win game with a meeting with the Lakers.

Oklahoma City is back in a tie for play-in position after a loss on Thursday to the Clippers.

Each game the result will impact where OKC stands in the right Western Conference. The Thunder’s next foe is one of the three teams OKC is tied with for eighth in the west, the Lakers.

The Thunder will complete a three game Los Angeles trip on Friday with a meeting with the Lakers a night after losing to the Clippers to fall back under .500. The Thunder have been hot in recent weeks and haven’t dropped back-to-back games since their five game skid post All-Star Break.

Oklahoma City will need a win on Friday, and it’s possible with the Lakers missing Lebron James and with D’Angelo Russell’s availability in doubt due to a hip injury.

As for OKC, Aleksej Pokusevski has rejoined the NBA roster after being recalled from the Blue, and could make his long awaited return to the hardwood.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander though is questionable as the Thunder continue to limit his minutes during back-to-backs, his availability is crucial to the Thunder’s success.

Here are the most recent injury reports for both squads entering tonight:

Oklahoma City Thunder:

Chet Holmgren: Out: Right foot surgery

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Questionable: Abdominal Strain

Kenrich Williams: Out: Left Wrist Scapholunate Rupture

Jared Butler: Available: G League Two-Way

Los Angeles Lakers:

Mo Bamba: Out: Left Ankle Sprain

Scotty Pippen Jr: Out: G League Two-Way

Cole Swider: Out: G League Two-Way

Tip-off for the Lakers and Thunder is slated for 9:30 p.m. in LA, the Lakers are currently 4.5-point favorites.
