Injury Report: Paul George Out for Thunder-Clippers Rematch
The Thunder will look to increase their win streak to three tonight as they take on the Clippers, again.
Oklahoma City downed the Clippers, 101-100, on Tuesday and can complete the season sweep with another win on Thursday. The Clippers will have to fend off the surging Thunder without Paul George, who suffered a knee injury in Tuesday’s contest.
The Thunder are currently the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference and could move to just a half-game back from sixth, the Golden State Warriors, with a win. A win would also lift OKC over .500 for the first time since Nov. 1 when OKC was 4-3.
The Thunder’s injury report did not see any new additions between Tuesday and Thursday, but did see a slight change with Jared Butler now being available and with the team. The Clippers remain without Norman Powell and BJ Boston on top of George for the contest.
Here are the most recent injury reports for both squads entering tonight:
Oklahoma City Thunder:
Chet Holmgren: Out: Right foot surgery
Aleksej Pokusevski: Out: Left Tibial Plateau nondisplaced fracture
Kenrich Williams: Out: Left Wrist Scapholunate Rupture
Jared Butler: Available: G League Two-Way
Los Angeles Clippers:
Paul George: Out: Right Knee Sprain
Brandon Boston Jr: Out: Tailbone Contusion
Norman Powell: Out: Left Shoulder Subluxation
Moussa Diabate: Out: G League Two-Way
Xavier Moon: Out: G League Two-Way
Jason Preston: Out: G League On Assignment
Tip-off for the Clippers and Thunder is slated for 9:30 p.m., the Clippers are currently four-point favorites.
