Thunder Gameday: Round Two Against the Clippers

For the second time in three days, Oklahoma City will take on the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Following a huge win over the LA Clippers, the Oklahoma City Thunder will have a chance to make it two in a row tonight. Once again, these two squads will face off in Los Angeles as stars take the floor.

Tuesday's game ended with Lu Dort locking up Kawhi Leonard for over 20 seconds to close out the game, securing the one-point win for Oklahoma City. Leonard will look to get revenge tonight in the form of a victory.

With that in mind, the Clippers will be without a key piece.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kawhi Leonard, LA Clippers

ODDS:

The Thunder enter the day as 2-point underdogs to the Clippers, and the total over/under is 232.5 points.

KEYS TO THE GAME:

In what was a scary event, Paul George suffered a knee injury in the first of these two matchups and will likely miss the remainder of the regular season. In the meantime, that means tonight's contest will look quite a bit different.

Even without George, Leonard has the talent to pull off a win on his own when he's in the zone. It will be him against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to determine who's the best player on the floor tonight.

In the matchup earlier this week, OKC was down 18-4 to start the game, but ultimately came back. While they ended up leading after the first quarter, these slow starts cannot be overcome on a regular basis.

Look for Gilgeous-Alexander to get support from Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams early in tonight's game to get off to a better start.
