A 15-year-old accused of leading officers on a pursuit Wednesday morning in Oklahoma City has been arrested.
Oklahoma City Police said the pursuit was initiated at around 1:26 a.m. near Northeast 30th Street and North Lincoln Boulevard after a traffic stop was attempted.
Police self-terminated the pursuit before the suspects ran on foot.
Officers were able to track down the passenger in the vehicle by a drone, and they were taken into custody.
Police said they saw a young man standing next to a liquor store near Northwest 23rd Street and North Broadway Avenue before the man took off running.
Officers responded to the area and were able to take the suspect into custody.
Officers also showed the suspect a cell phone that was left in the vehicle of the initial pursuit, and he asked how they found his phone, which connected him to the stolen vehicle pursuit.
The suspect was then arrested on the complaint of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
