Two incidents occurred in Muskogee County, Oklahoma this week. The first incident involved a masked gunman who attacked a family on Monta Avenue, resulting in the death of John Martin. The second incident was a car crash on North County Line Road, which claimed the life of a 15-year-old and injured two other teenagers. Investigations are ongoing for both incidents.
Driver faces charges after Inola police find meth, firearms in traffic stop
INOLA, Okla. (KOKH) — Inola Police Department (IPD) discovered methamphetamine, firearms, and a large sum of money during a traffic stop. On September 6, IPD attempted to pull over a silver GMC pickup that was stopped and blocking both southbound lanes at the intersection of State Highway 412 and Highway 88.
Wendy’s Proposed for Arbor Springs
Progress is being made on a few new businesses entering the Arbor Springs Plaza Shopping Center adjacent to Publix. In addition to the these new businesses, construction plans are under review for a new Wendy’s. The restaurant would be built alongside of US 29 and the southern most entrance to the shopping center in Out-lot 1. According to the site plans, the proposed Wendy’s would be 2,024 SQ.FT. and have ample parking. Once built this would be Coweta’s sixth Wendy’s. We will provide more details once construction begins on an opening date and hiring information.
