OHIO — With most of the state under wind advisories Saturday, with gusts potentially reaching up to 60 mph, power outage reports stretch from Cincinnati up to Cleveland.

Power Outage U.S. reported more than 350,000 customers across Ohio were without power at 4:30 p.m. Saturay. More than 1,500 outages were reported in Hamilton County while Franklin County had more than 21,000. There were more than 11,000 outages in Cuyahoga County.

Duke Energy is reporting 12,000 customers in the Cincinnati area have been affected by pop up storms. More than 179,000 First Energy customers are reporting outages. AEP Ohio reported more than 123,000 outages.

The Ohio Turnpike issued a Travel Restriction ahead of the weather event for high-profile vehicles. The restriction stretches the entirety of the 241-mile toll road, prohibiting travel for the following vehicles until 8 p.m. Saturday, March 25:

  • All high-profile tow-behind trailers, campers, boats, and enclosed trailers. (Fifth wheel trailers are excluded.)
  • Commercial trucks towing an empty single 53-foot trailer
  • All mobile homes, office trailers and livestock trailers
  • All long combination vehicles (LCV) that include long double-trailer combinations exceeding 90 feet in length. (Enclosed trailers only, including Conestoga type trailers)
  • All LCV triple-trailer combinations
