    St. Lawrence County man pleads guilty to August 2023 murder

    CANTON, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 44-year-old Ogdensburg man has pleaded guilty in St. Lawrence County Court to an August 2023 murder that occurred in the City of Ogdensurg.

    The St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office announced that Kenneth Durham entered a guilty plea for second-degree murder of 19-year-old Bryson Jenks on August 10, 2023.

    Ogdensburg man facing multiple charges after fatal stabbing

    Durham pleaded guilty to allegedly stabbing Jenks after a verbal dispute on the 400 block of Patterson Street. He was also originally charged with  third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at the time of the arrest.

    He faces a minimum of 17 years in prison and a maximum of life. Sentencing is slated for 11 a.m. August 15.
