Car rams into front of Oceanside gun store

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A vehicle slammed into the front of a gun store in Oceanside overnight on Monday.

The car, which appeared to be a silver Kia sedan, was still stuck in the front of the gun store — Firearms Unknown near the intersection of Oceanside Boulevard and Goat Hill Drive — around 6:30 a.m.

Authorities remained on site throughout the morning, working to collect evidence before towing the vehicle out. By 7 a.m., the vehicle was placed on a truck to haul away.

Details about what led to the crash or if it may have been associated with a crime have not been confirmed by law enforcement.
