There is a feeling of nostalgia as they reflect on the memories forged over the past four years- friendships formed, challenges overcome, and lessons learned. There is pride when thinking of their accomplishments, years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. And amidst the celebration, there is also uncertainty, a sense of apprehension about what lies ahead, along with the eagerness to tackle new challenges. A tragic end befell a young hiker from Gainesville, who lost his life after a treacherous fall into the cold waters of the Tallulah River. 19-year-old Exauce T. Kabeya took an ill-fated tumble above Oceana Falls in Tallulah Gorge State Park, perishing in a hazardous section of the river known for its rapid flows and steep terrain.
