The Park City Police Department in late April stopped drivers for a variety of suspected offenses, as traffic patrols continued through the community’s spring offseason. Monitoring traffic is part of the department’s regular duties, and the recent cases were similar in nature to what is typical for the police. Speeding and other traffic issues have for years been one of the chief complaints of Parkites. The police and the wider municipal government have taken steps over time in an attempt to curb the road issues with varying degrees of success.
