Local players earn all-CIF-SS selections in basketball, soccer and water polo

Sophomore point guard Delaney White was named the CIF-Southern Section Division 3AA Girls Basketball Player of the Year after leading Oak Park to its second straight CIF-SS championship.

William Burr earned Coach of the Year honors and Lindsay Gould made the first team for the Eagles, who beat Cerritos 71-41 in the Division 3AA championship game. Oak Park, which won the Division 5A title last season, became the first Ventura County team to win back-to-back girls basketball section titles since Buena in 1995-96 and 1996-97.

Mikayla Oliver of quarterfinalist Oxnard was named to the Division 1 first team.

Kailee Staniland of quarterfinalist Ventura made the Division 2AA first team.

Kimiko Carmer and Skylar Komatsu of semifinalist Newbury Park and Madilyn Stonebraker of semifinalist Santa Paula earned Division 4AA first-team honors.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Elias Chin of semifinalist Thousand Oaks was named to the Division 2AA first team.

Austin Maziasz of quarterfinalist Westlake made the Division 2A first team.

Dylan Benner of St. Bonaventure was named to the Division 3AA first team, earning his second straight all-CIF-SS first-team selection after the Seraphs reached a CIF-SS championship game for the second consecutive season.

Ace Arnold of Royal made the Division 4AA first team.

Jose Valdovinos of quarterfinalist Santa Paula and Mason Stueber of quarterfinalist Hillcrest Christian were named to the Division 4A first team.

Ashton Brown of quarterfinalist Foothill Tech earned Division 5A first-team honors.

BOYS SOCCER

Tyler Cash of Oak Park was named to the Division 1 first team.

Kevin Zendejas of Agoura, Armando Acevedo of Moorpark and Michael Sauceda of Pacifica were named to the Division 2 first team.

Brady Gabler and Dragen Vrataric Newbury Park earned Division 3 first-team honors.

Cristiano Alvarez of Ventura was named to Division 4 first team.

Matheus Gamble and Merric Bayless of Foothill Tech earned Division 5 first-team honors.

Jared Dew of Royal made the Division 6 first team.

GIRLS SOCCER

Avery Oder and Abigail Seawright of Oaks Christian made the Open Division first team.

Gianna Foss of Moorpark was named to the Division 1 first team.

Mackenzie Gwin and Jessica Heybl of Camarillo earned Division 2 first-team honors.

Ava Dermott, Macie Baird and Malea Johnson made the Division 3 first team after leading Oak Park to the CIF-SS final.

Marlene Gonzalez of Fillmore was named to the Division 4 first team.

Brianna Bergstrom of La Reina made the Division 7 first team.

GIRLS WATER POLO

Mia Fabros of Oaks Christian was named to the Open Division first team.

Abigail Kim and Khloe Tarbet of semifinalist Agoura made the Division 2 first team.

Ashlan Gee of Royal was named to the Division 3 first team.

Taylor Credle of quarterfinalist Calabasas made the Division 5 first team.
