Norwalk police investigate possible link between armed robbery, stolen vehicle

Police say at 11:15 p.m. a woman entered police headquarters saying she had been robbed and assaulted at gunpoint while walking on Henry Street.

Norwalk police are investigating an armed robbery and a stolen vehicle that happened within minutes of each other in the city Wednesday night.
They say at 11:15 p.m. a woman entered police headquarters saying she had been robbed and assaulted at gunpoint while walking on Henry Street.
Moments later, police received a call that a vehicle had been stolen from the Mobil Gas Station on East Avenue. That vehicle was later recovered in Bridgeport.
Police say a similar red vehicle was used during both incidents and believe they may be connected.
