NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — “There have been just too many obstacles to overcome,” wrote the owners of a North Providence restaurant that suddenly shut down after being in business for over four years.

Howie’s, a family-owned business, thanked its customers for their support.

“We are truly thankful to you for you being our friends, our family,” wrote the owners. “It was a difficult and long thought decision, but one we feel is best for all of us here.”
