North Little Rock police released more information on the pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on Monday.

According to the police, officers responded at 8:08 p.m. to the area of John F Kennedy Boulevard and Osage Drive about a man being struck by a vehicle.

The victim has been identified as 71-year-old Mark Lorge of North Little Rock.

The driver who hit Lorge is a 66-year-old North Little Rock resident.

The driver was traveling north on JFK when he hit Lorge at the intersection of Osage Drive, he stayed on the scene and was interviewed by detectives.

Lorge was located dead in the middle of the roadway.

North Little Rock police said the driver was fully cooperative during the investigation, and at this time, no charges have been filed.

Police said this investigation is active and on going at this time.
