North Las Vegas police save stolen turtles found inside hot car (NLVPD)
Las Vegas (KSNV) —
Officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department found some interesting creatures inside a car.

On Thursday, police posted on social media about the encounter, saying red-eared slider turtles were found in the trunk of a car being processed by CSI.
It was later discovered that the turtles had been stolen from a local pond and were hot and dehydrated.

North Las Vegas Animal Protection Services saved them in time and safely returned them to their natural habitat.
