Pedestrian dead after overnight hit and run in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
A man is dead after a hit-and-run crash in North Las Vegas Saturday morning, police say.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of N Las Vegas Blvd near Pecos Rd around 2:47 a.m. after reports of a man lying in the roadway.
Upon arrival, a man believed to be in his 50s or 60s was found on the roadway and unresponsive.
According to North Las Vegas Police, the man was outside of a marked crosswalk when a vehicle struck him.
The driver left the scene and did not call the police.
Medical personnel responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
