20-year-old Fond du Lac man led police pursuit after crashing his car in suspected drunk driving incident
FOND DU LAC – A 20-year-old man was arrested May 11 after crashing his car and attempting to flee police. The Fond du Lac Police Department responded at about 1:30 a.m. to the man, whose vehicle had struck a light pole in the area of North Peters Avenue and Security Drive. He was alert and refused to exit the locked vehicle, though the vehicle was smoking, police said in a news release.

FOND DU LAC – The season of sunshine and flowering plants brings with it the return of the Downtown Fond du Lac Farmers Market. The market will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon through Oct. 26 on Main Street between Western and Forest avenues. For set-up and tear-down, the road will close at 6 a.m. and reopen at 1 p.m.
