The City of North Bend hopes to get the community out for its ongoing concert series this Saturday.
Timberwolf will take the stage at the city's events tent on Union Avenue.
The free concert is aimed at boosting traffic to local pubs and restaurants.
Food trucks from Angelina's Mexican Restaurant, West Coast Bitez and Smokin' Aces Kettle Corn will also pull up beginning at 6 p.m.
"It's a really great way to have community engagement. We really love offering something fun for the community to do. The time frame of the is really great to coincide with our downtown businesses as well and any businesses in North Bend. It gives them a chance to go out and eat dinner there or if they don't want to go eat dinner, they can come to the food trucks here on sight. We also have a couple wonderful pubs downtown," said Stephanie Wilson, North Bend Main Street Program manager.
Wilson says the event is family-friendly.
Wilson adds, the free concert is just one of the ways the city can utilize the event tent during the off season for ice skating.
Ice skating is expected to resume after the Thanksgiving holiday.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at 2040 Union Avenue.
