HS Softball: North Arlington Rallies by Wood-Ridge

WOOD-RIDGE, NJ – A five-run sixth inning lifted North Arlington to 6-5 victory over Wood-Ridge in a NJIC  non-divisional girls softball game on Wednesday afternoon at the Wood-Ridge Athletic Complex.  North Arlington improved to 8-6 overall, while Wood-Ridge is now 6-6.

Ava Rizos had three run batted in and scored two runs, while driving in one, to lead the Wood-Ridge offense on the day, which collected nine hits while scoring five runs.  Alexa Celentano had two hits and drove in a run.

Jeylene Joza had two hits and two runs scored for North Arlington, while Kyra Garcia had a hit and two runs batted in.

Cadence Mansfield picked up the win for North Arlington, allowing five runs, three earned on nine hits, walking one, and striking out four.  Brooke Stellato went six innings for Wood-Ridge, allowing six hits, walking seven, and striking out 11.
