A Douglas man was recently arrested by officers on a possession of methamphetamine charge after he was stopped on a bicycle just before 3:00 a.m. by an officer with the Douglas Police Department, according to an incident report.

A Hazelhurst woman was recently arrested in Douglas by the Coffee County Drug Unit after methamphetamine was found inside her purse during a traffic stop, according to a preliminary report. Weekly jail bookings also indicate that the driver of the vehicle, another woman, was taken into custody on a felony probation warrant.
