No. 1 Oklahoma (58-1) defeated No. 4 Tennessee (50-9), 9-0, in five innings on Saturday in the Womenβs College World Series.
The 2023 Womenβs College World Series is taking place June 1-9 atΒ USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium β OGE Energy Field in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Sooners extended their winning to streak to 50 games. Oklahoma’s lone loss was a 4-3 decision against Baylor on Feb. 19.
Oklahoma is playing for its third consecutive national championship.
The Lady Vols opened College World Series play on Thursday, defeating No. 5 Alabama, 10-5.
Oklahoma defeated No. 9 Stanford, 2-0, on Thursday and advanced to Saturday’s winners’ bracket game.
