No. 4 seed Tennessee (50-8) will play No. 1 Oklahoma (57-1) Saturday in the Women’s College World Series.
The 2023 Women’s College World Series is taking place June 1-9 at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – OGE Energy Field in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Lady Vols opened College World Series play by defeating No. 5 Alabama, 10-5, on Thursday.
Oklahoma defeated No. 9 Stanford, 2-0, on Thursday.
The Sooners’ enter Saturday’s contest versus Tennessee with a 49-game winning streak. Baylor defeated Oklahoma, 4-3, on Feb. 19 for the Sooners’ only loss in 2023.
Oklahoma is playing for its third consecutive national championship.
