One of the top prospects in the class of 2024 has set up summer visits to Texas and Oklahoma. Four-star athlete Terry Bussey will take a trip to Norman from June 16-18 and one to Austin the following week.

247Sports composite rankings list Bussey as the No. 4 overall athlete and the No. 9 player in the state of Texas in the 2024 cycle.

While Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorn staff are working to keep the Timpson product in the state, Bussey does not feel obligated to stay in Texas.

“I could stay in state or I could leave. Over time, I’ll figure that out. I don’t feel any pressure to stay in state though.”

Bussey named his top 11 schools back in early May and is starting to take his official visits. The Red River Rivals hope to make a move up Bussey’s recruitment in June.
