NORFOLK, Va. — The 15th Annual Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival, named one of the top food and drink festivals in the nation by Business Insider, returns to the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront on Saturday & Sunday, May 6 & 7, at scenic Town Point Park.

The festival showcases more than 25 of the Commonwealth’s top wineries in a picturesque setting along the Elizabeth River, allowing budding sommeliers and everyday enthusiasts to sample and purchase premier wine with friends and family, while also enjoying live musical performances, gourmet foods, and specialty wine merchandise.

Festival organizer say that this year, something new to the Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival is the Somm Social V.I.P. Tasting, an "intimate, upscale experience" featuring premium award-winning wine tastings, curated educational discussions with certified sommeliers, and artisanal finger food & charcuterie on Sunday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Somm Sunday Social takes place in a "picturesque private chalet with waterfront views, private restrooms, and shaded seating."

Tickets are $100and include admission to the festival and tasting privileges for the complete festival.
