Cirque Italia Water Circus coming to Norfolk soon

NORFOLK, Neb. (KCAU) — Cirque Italia will be hosting a water circus at the Sunset Plaza Mall in Norfolk starting Thursday.

The show, titled Water Circus Silver, is a comedy about a clown named Rafael, a farm boy “swept away by a tornado who lands in the heart of the city’s chaos,” according to a release. It’s described by Cirque Italia as “a celebration of diversity, unity, and inclusivity, echoing the timeless ideals of the American circus.”

Acts and performances include the Trampoline Wall, the Rolls Bolla, the Rope act, the Fire act, and more. Cirque Italia’s shows do not involve the use of animals.

Water Circus Silver will be located at 1700 Market Lane under a white and blue Big Top Tent. There are seven shows available:

• Thursday, April 25 – 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, April 26 – 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, April 27 – 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, April 28 – 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
