Two Southeast Texas school districts are weighing their next steps after voters rejected proposed school funding measures, forcing leaders to reassess budgets and priorities. In Nederland ISD, Proposition A is no longer moving forward after voters turned down the tax measure. Board President Nicholas Phillips said the district now has to take a broader look at its finances and what it can sustain.
