NOGALES, AZ - Three cheers are in order for Delta Fresh’s newest team member! The company recently added Nate Bachelier to its Sales Department.

“The opportunity which Delta Fresh has given me to keep developing and expanding both the business and my career in such a meaningful work environment makes me feel beyond grateful and fortunate,” commented Bachelier on his newest career development.

As noted in the release, Bachelier started his fresh produce career in 2013 while in high school. He began his stint at Daily Fresh, working there seasonally while going to school and learning about the supply chain process within the produce distribution warehouse.

After going to college at the University of Arizona, Bachelier came back to Nogales, Arizona, to work as a QC at Robinson Fresh. He then took a break from produce from 2018 to 2020 and was an actor. Bachelier then returned to the produce business in 2020, working at PDG during the grape season and helping with inspections.

In 2021, Bachelier moved to Phoenix and worked with PBA Produce as a Buyer/Broker. Wanting to be closer to the family, he sought a job in his hometown of Nogales, leading to the start of his career as a shipper with Delta Fresh.

“We’re happy to have Nate on board. He grew up in the produce industry, and we are glad to see he chose to continue down that path,” Atanacio Panousopoulos, Chief Executive Officer and Owner, commented in the press release.

With nearly 10 years of experience under his belt, the Delta Fresh team is looking forward to the contributions and insights Bachelier has to offer.
