PECK - A woman is facing a felony grand theft charge after allegedly stealing a vehicle on Thanksgiving Day in rural Nez Perce County, near Peck. According to court records, on November 23, a stolen vehicle was reported at a residence on Peanuts Lane, near Peck. A 2006 red Ford Freestyle was allegedly stolen out of a driveway.

Man who Shot at Lewiston Police Still Being Held at Spokane Jail
LEWISTON - The man who was shot after allegedly firing a gun at police on November 2nd in Lewiston is still being held in a Spokane Jail. The Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office said on November 7 that 32-year-old Blake Chlumsky, of Lewiston, was in custody in Spokane, being held on a warrant. As of Monday morning, he was still in the custody of Spokane County. A fugitive hearing, regarding extradition to Nez Perce County, is set for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30. The official specifics on how he came to be in the custody of Spokane authorities were not released.
