Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Scott Olive Missionary Baptist Church; 1050 Ewing Street; Beaumont, TX. Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery; CR 1019 off FM 1012 in the Jamestown community of Newton County, TX under the direction of Coleman’s Mortuary in Jasper.
Newton County home destroyed by blaze late Saturday night
BEAUMONT, Texas — Firefighters from three volunteer departments were unable to save a Newton County home from flames over the weekend. The Newton Volunteer Fire Department responded to the house fire just before 11:45 p.m. Saturday night in the 5100 block of County Road 4002 according to a Facebook post from the fire department.
