Still, there are plenty of bays and creeks, and the wind is mostly out of the north, which has some large chunks of the lake very fishable.Logan Dyar and Landon Lawson are both looking good to stay in the Top 25, as they each have limits. Lawson had 15 pounds in the well early in the afternoon, and had finished his ‘Scope period in the morning. Dyar was just beginning his ‘Scope session around 12:45 p.m., which means he’s got a lot of potential to move the needle before weigh-in. After two days, there’s one thing for sure on Pickwick, and it’s that forward-facing sonar helps a ton. Behind the leaders, Jackson Bennett was having a slow morning, and Jack Dice burned about half of his forward-facing period with no bass to show for it. Saving his ‘Scope for the afternoon, Hayden O’Barr had nothing around 9:30 a.m. Also saving his ‘Scope, Clayton Ellis put his third in the box around noon. Starting the day in the teens, Daylon Milam and Dylan Quilatan both ‘Scoped up bags in the mid-teens, and are possibly good to go for Day 3.Notably for REDCREST qualification purposes, Yuma Ejiri had a 5-pound smallmouth in the livewell he caught without forward-facing sonar. If he can finish a limit, he’s going to be in the hunt to lead the International Division and make REDCREST.As far as a potential leader goes, Tallis Morrison is going to be one to watch. Starting the day in fourth, he had 19 1/2 pounds before noon, with some forward-facing sonar time left. He’s almost a lock for some MLFNOW! action on Day 3, and he should be pretty fun to watch.Weigh-in starts at 2:30 p.m. CT, and only the Top 25 fish tomorrow, so tune in to see how things shake out.</div></body>
