Junior Nationals qualifier Josh Pendleton has announced his verbal commitment to swim and study at Brigham Young University, becoming the first commit in the Cougars’ class of 2032. He publicized the news on SwimCloud, writing:<blockquote>I am super excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Brigham Young University! I am so grateful for my family, teammates, and friends for always supporting me. I’d also like to thank all my high school and club coaches, especially my first coach, Coach Jennifer Brinegar, for helping me get to where I am today. Special thanks to all the BYU coaching staff for this opportunity.
