The bazaar is made possible by Camp Branch United Methodist Church in Alabaster and is sponsored by the United Women in Faith group.“What makes our fall bazaar so special is the spirit of togetherness,” said Amy Vandiver, a member of United Women in Faith. “It's more than just a market; it's a place for community members to spend quality time with one another while celebrating local craftsmanship. Whether you're looking for handcrafted gifts, delicious homemade food or just good company, there's a place for you.”The bazaar first started with hand-crafted items from ladies at Camp Branch United Methodist Church and featured homemade soups and chilies and attendees could dine in or carry out. Now, it has expanded to offer holiday pies and cakes as well as a variety of vendors.“It's like a culmination of our summer markets, where we interact with our community to bring fresh seasonal produce and provide space for local vendors to share their specialties,” said Peggy Crim with the United Women in Faith group. Some of the vendors at the bazaar include:

Yule Dream - holiday wreaths, custom-made bows and decorations

Sweet Eden Creations - gourmet cookies, including chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, s'mores, butter pecan and specialty cupcakes, including red velvet, salted caramel and candy apples

Hoffman House Bakes - Cookie cakes, cookie boxes - original chocolate chip, cinnamon roll, pumpkin spice latte, milk chocolate, salted caramel

Kreations by K - Lip balms, door hangers, wreaths, crocheted items

Gypsy Grit - Handcrafted beaded jewelry, up-cycled clothing, bags and accessories

Eyth Studio & Design - Handcrafted jewelry

Master's Touch - Homemade candies, floral arrangements

Brainspark Leatherworks - Handcrafted leather items

Denis Egan - Handcrafted birdhouses and rocking horses

Quilted Treasures by Agnes - Handmade quilts and quilted items

David Nix – Hand-carved mini figures

Big Creek Farms- Local honey, local popcorn

Sam's Scumptious Sweets - Cinnamon rolls, muffins, breads

Camp Branch United Women in Faith - Homemade vegetable soup & chili, holiday pies and cakes, homemade jams/jellies

“It’s important that you shop local,” said Debra Payne, president of the United Women in Faith group. “Our vendors have spent a lot of time preparing for the bazaar. It also opens up opportunities for our communities to support local artisans as well.”Currently, the bazaar will take place outdoors, but in the event of inclement weather, it will move indoors at the civic center.
