Flash Flood Emergency For Parts of Georgia and Tennessee

Residences along the Ocoee (TN) and Toccoa (GA) River have had to leave their homes early Thursday morning as heavy caused catastrophic flooding overnight into the morning hours. Up to 10 inches of rain fell in parts of Northern Georgia Wednesday evening, leading to a surge of water in the Ocoee, hitting a record height of over 18 feet.
