<body><div><p>City of Twin Falls Public Water System - Public Water System Identification Number: ID5420058 Notice Date: 9-15-2026 - Failure to Complete Required Total Coliform Monitoring</p><p>The City of Twin Falls Public Water System is providing this notice because it did not complete required drinking-water monitoring on August 24, 2026. On that date, water samples reported for fifteen City sampling locations were not collected from the locations reported. The City’s investigation determined that a sample collected at the Harrison Pump Station was used for all fifteen reported sample locations.</p><p>We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not your drinking water meets health standards. During August 2026, we did not complete all monitoring or testing for total coliform bacteria and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of your drinking water during that time.</p><p>This is a monitoring violation under the Revised Total Coliform Rule. It is not a finding that the City’s drinking water contained total coliform bacteria or that a drinking-water standard was exceeded.</p><h2>Potential Health Effects and Persons at Risk</h2><p>Because the required samples were not collected from the reported locations, the City cannot verify whether the drinking water at each of those locations met applicable health standards on August 24, 2026. People who may be more vulnerable to waterborne illness include infants, young children, older adults, pregnant people, and people with weakened immune systems.</p><h2>What You Should Do</h2><p>At this time, you do not need to use an alternative water supply or take any special action. If you are concerned about your health, consult your healthcare provider. The City will provide additional notice if information becomes available that indicates a public health concern.</p><h2>What the City Is Doing</h2><p>The City discovered the violation and reported it to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
