Strong thunderstorms possible on Tuesday

2026-09-22HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A front will be stalled around the area on Tuesday, which will provide lift for afternoon showers and storms. Any storms that form in the afternoon will bring threats of wind gusts greater than 45 mph, torrential rain, frequent lightning and small hail. If you have plans outdoors, make sure you’re paying close attention to the weather.
